MY SUMMER YARD OF PLENTY!

When we moved into this blue house we were so excited there was a row of Raspberries along the back fence. YUMMY! There are usually just a few handfuls a summer but I love them and never had stuff grow this easy in Arizona.

Zach and his Dad built me these two cute Garden boxes last summer! We have loved having a cute little corner for growing a few vegetables. We grew, yellow squash, zuchinni, green beans, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and purple onions! Can't wait to make yummy homemade salsa again!

I HATE OUR APRICOT TREE!!! I HATE IT, I HATE IT, I HATE IT!!!
If you're thinking about it don't grow fruit trees. They are so messy and annoying. It took me about two hours to pick up all the slimy yucky apricots off the ground. Then we put down plastic and shook the branches like crazy and they are loaded this year. We dumped them in a box. We can't reach half the branches still. So of course there was a windstorm the next day and we are back to square one with nasty apricots all over the ground! I WANT TO CRY!!! At least the 3 little plum trees are not producing much this year. The apricots have been loaded very year.

I do love apricot jam and so we made do with the dumb situation and made some jam yesterday. I am trying to get motivated to clean it all up again tomorrow. Aargh!

Silly Girls!

My girls have been fighting like cats and dogs the last few days! They always want the same toy and it is driving me crazy! They have been cooped up in the house last few days while I worked all weekend. Now that I am done working I am tired and behind on house work so we have been staying at home more. We have had such a busy summer always doing something fun! Sometimes it is so nice just to stay at home and get into your routine. We are working hard and saving money to go on our Mexico Vacation in October!!! ANYWAYS, I try to put Mallory on the potty before her baths to get her used to it and she never goes. So since they are fighting over everything Sydney jumps on the toilet too. It was such a funny site I had to take a picture. How can such naughty, stinkin' girls be so cute?

We finally made it to the Twin Falls Temple Open house! It was beautiful. I can't wait to do a session. We asked how many people had been thru saturday and the said over 4400 people so far. Tours were every 5 minutes. We are so blessed to have a temple this close. I really love Twin Falls and this makes it even better to live here. This was really special for the girls too. Sydney has been learning the song I love to see the temple and understands it is a special place. Mallory maybe won't remember but she was pretty good except when she tried to dive into the font and jumped up and down on a few things. OK SHE WAS NAUGHTY!!!

Zach's entire family came down for the Temple Open House and it was really fun to go thru it together. I especially loved the video about temples before we walked thru. Brees birthday was Monday so we celebrated with cake and had a BBQ at our house afterwards! Thanks everyone it was really fun to hang out and visit!

Playing with family!

We had a busy fun week with family. We picked up Chad and Ashley Tuesday and drove to Boise to see baby Tenley. We stayed in a hotel and went swimming and ate all their free cookies and mints and apples too. We went to dinner and then stayed up late talking about boys with Vanessa. he he Then we got up and held the baby more and went to ice cream with everyone slammed in the pilot. We all fit YEAH! Then we came home and Zach made us yummy tri tip dinner. Then Chad and Ashley watched the girls at our double header softball game. Thanks guys! Mallory was a crazy messy poopsy. The next day we slept in and relaxed during the day. Then we had our dinner cruise.Friday Zach took off and we had a big breakfast and then went to the ropes course and watched Vanessa and her institute do rock wall climbing and zip lines etc. The Nampa institute came down for the Temple open house and played and went white water rafting too. Vanessa planned it all and it sounded really really fun. (That's where all my tithing goes) Then we went bowling and played games and the girls went and picked up the new book BREAKING DAWN! I am obsessed and almost done but this one is wierd too. BUT I LIKE IT!!!

This guy dressed up for the vampire prom and we asked him for a picture of course. He said are you making fun of me? We were like no of course not you look awesome just like an edward. He smiled and let us take the picture then. he he

Baby Tenley
We finally got to meet Aunt Rachelle and Uncle Scott's new baby! Baby Tenley is such a dolly. She is so cuddly and soft and smells good. We drove Chad and Ashley to meet her and then Sunday for Hawkley's baby blessing we got to see her again! I think Sydney got the most baby hungry and wanted to hold her constantly!
