Halloween 2009

Zach has wanted to be an Oompa-Loompa since last year. I am still not convinced it was what I wanted to be. I tried to make it at least a little more girly. We had a fun adult dance party on Thursday. Friday we went and saw the Kelsey Cousins and had pizza and a ward party. I was in charge of the fish pond. We won the best family costumes. Saturday we drove to Boise and went to Breakfast with family and friends and then the boys went to the BSU game. Rachelle and I made gourmet caramel apples and then we went trunk or treating with Hawkley's and Trick or Treating. It was a drawn out long Halloween but the girls loved it!

Carving Pumpkins

I love Autmn! The colors and the smells! I also love any dessert with pumpkin in it! Pumpkin blizzards, Pumpkin cookies, pie, cake!!!! The girls had a great time carving pumpkins with us this year and drew their own faces on the pumpkins for us to cut out!

Mallory Jade's 3rd Birthday!!!

Mallory had a good 3rd birthday and she got SUPER spoiled. She had a birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Kelsey's and had most of her cousins there too! She was so excited for her birthday for weeks and kept telling me all the things she wanted including. This included a red pony, sponge bob's house, dumbo, mickey's house, and princess stuff. I thought we found alot of what she asked for.

9th Anniversary Weekend to Las Vegas

I can't believe it has been 9 years of being married to ZACH! We always have so much fun together! We went to Las Vegas for the weekend before our Anniversary. We drove most of the night to Polo Towers and then slept in forever. I love our roadtrips. We get hopped up on code red and then catch up talking about everything.
We woke up and bought some cheap tickets to Phantom of the Opera. We of course walked the strip for a while and ended up going to the Cheesecake Factory to eat yummy food. Then we took naps and got ready for Phantom. It was SPECTACULAR! The Venetian has a beautiful Theatre that was built especially for it and therefore has lots of cool effects. (The chandelier falls down into the audience and lots of cool things came up from the stage floor)





The next day after sleeping in again we went shopping for Mallory's birthday. We also had to go to In N Out burger.....Zach's choice. After that we layed by the pool and I read a book. Then we got ready and walked the strip at night and of course watched my favorite Bellagio Fountains dance to music. We drove home all day Monday and made it to Grandma's in time for a Birthday party for Mallory. Thanks Val and Eddy for watching the girls, they loved every minute of their weekend too!

IT'S MILEY!!!

Tuesday we drove to Salt Lake and took Sydney to see Miley Cyrus in concert! She was in awe and it really was entertaining. Miley's brother from Metro Station was her opening act. He was skinny and slimy and kept spitting on the stage and yell singing. Sydney was like what is this and where is Hannah Montanna. Then his final song was Shake Shake and we got up and danced together because we finally recognized one of his songs. Then Miley performed 2 songs and ran off the stage sick. After a song from the back up singers she came back out and flew over the crowd. We were afraid she was going to blow chunks on all of us. She had alot of cool stage effects and costume changes, 20 back up dancers and huge screens all over the stage playing all sorts of things to the music. It was fun and sydney sat with her mouth open almost the whole time and then got up and danced with me to party in the USA! Zach is a saint and drove us down and back and sat there listening to 1000's of screaming little girls and Miley's nasally voice for 3 hrs. She can actually sing alot better than I thought, and would recommend her concert for fun! She does dance and dress a little to steamy for little girls!

Zach's AZ NFL guys trip!

Zach, his Dad Eddy, his friend Blake and his bro-inlaw Scott at the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts NFL game! They drove all night after work friday and relaxed and slept and then went to the game and drove all night again to get home. They are INSANE! They had a blast and Zach said his favorite part of these guy trips is getting to talk all night with some of his favorite people! They caught lots of football gloves and got autographs including Kurt Warner and Blake caught Peyton Mannings hat. They were pretty stoked. We texted the boys in the middle of the night to check on them and they said they have seen a mountain lion on the side of the road, maybe a zebra too, hit a rabbit after honking at it first and giggling for hours and then helped fix a flat tire for strangers in the middle of the night and it scared them! Sounds exciting.



I enjoyed a sisters weekend with Rachelle and Vanessa! We had a shoe party and had lots of friends drop by. We ate way too many mini cheesecakes and I think I gained 5 lbs. We played Bunco and Rock Band, watched SNL and went to Cafe Rio! The girls loved playing with Tenley. She has so much personality and is such a busy body like her mom. Tenley layed her head on Mallory and watched TV and then fell asleep it was precious!
