Syd's school Christmas Program

Sydney's first grade class put on a cute christmas program about Santa.  She was an Elf.  She had a couple parts and they sang about 10 little songs.  She had a huge smile on the whole time she sang and would sway back and forth and new all the words.  She is quite the performer.  We have it on video and I know I will cherish it when you are all grown up.  Syd you can be such a fun sweetie!  We had fun watching you sing

She said her part perfectly!
What kind of toys should Santa Bring?  .............something soft

Sweet little smile.

Sydney reads about 120 words per minute now. She says she loves reading and this makes me so happy. She was accepted into a charter school here that we thought she would love because they offer more dance and art etc. She also had alot of friends and neighbors at this school. We decided to try it. She had to leave mid semester from our current elementary. We have had no problems with our school and love the teachers and she is at the top of her class. But, she decided she wanted to try the other school. We had to buy khaki pants and polo shirts for her to go there. She went for 3 days and it was a really hard adjustment for her. So we decided we didn't need to have her tough it out and she was happy before so the public school took her right back the following Monday.  She is happy there and loves to go to school. She loves her teacher and is excited to be in the Princess in the Pea play at the end of the year.
