Makeup and Spongebob!

Mallory is going to turn 2 on Sunday and she is not too terrible but she is a busy body. She gets into everything and is not scared at all and jumps off everything. She gets into my makeup all the time and I found her painting her face with my permanent lipstick. It took alot of rubbing and it still didn't come off for a few days. She had a red face though from the scrubbing. oops!

She also loves spongebob with a passion like Sydney did when she was 2. Babob is the first word that comes out of her mouth almost every morning. She goes into a trance and I often find her laying on my bed with her leg crossed over her knee watching the show. She found a yellow sponge in our play dishes and insisted it was spongebob. She carried it around for days. I decided to draw a face on it. She will be getting some spongebob toys for her birthday because that is kind of pathetic. She also found a spongebob shirt at Grandpa Kelsey's he had found at the DI and thought the grandkids would like it. Mallory carried around and wore it all day there so he let her borrow it for a few days. Mallory wouldn't let me take her picture she was being busy. So Sydney modeled the shirt and sponge for me. he he

Sad day!

I'm being a downer. But, I rear ended someone Wednesday and it was my fault. I was distracted reaching for gum for the kiddos and the person in front of me slammed on their brakes and I didn't see it quick enough. Unfortunately, I had the spirit or a thought to not follow to close behind this guy because he was driving fast and hiting his breaks behind people on the freeway. So, I obviously did not listen or pay attention enough until I realized it was the same guy I rear ended. Lesson learned......don't talk on cell phones, turn up the radio to loud or try to discipline or feed kids while driving. I am a ditzy driver anyways and so I am super scared now and just don't even want to drive anymore. Everyone was safe and unharmed. But the kids were with me and it scared us all. Sadly our newer pilot looks pretty banged up and will be in the shop for about 2 weeks. The radiator was leaking and the whole front bumper is smashed and part of the hood. We only have to pay a deductible on our insurance and my small $75 ticket.
It has been a rough couple of days for me and now I get to work all weekend and stay up till 1200 both days for primary program stuff. Playing the piano while exhausted from staying up all night at work. I am sure I will make lots of mistakes......oh and did I mention I have to sing a descant to a song with all the teachers. So basically a solo with froggy voice from being tired.
Life is still beautiful. The kids are so cute and cuddly and Zach was super nice to me about everything and that helped me alot. We are still planning to go to Mexico next month for our anniversary so hopefully there is no more drama before then.

San Francisco Sunday!!!

Sunday we slept in and went to a cafe downtown and had a yummy breakfast. Then we came back to the hotel to get ready for the game. Some of the 49ers were staying at our hotel. We saw a bunch of them in the lobby that morning. We are Lions fans! We got heckled really bad at the game of course. Most of the 49er fans were just teasing us but some yelled rude stuff too. It was an experience. It didn't help Zach wore his dread lock huge freakin' hat! We lost the game but we had great seats on the first row of the endzone! So it was a fun NFL experience. It took us over 2 hrs to get out of the parking lots afterwards! I read my book The Host while Zach battled the slow traffic. We ended the night eating at Binnehanas right on the bay! Yummy! We took our Jersey's off for dinner to have a relaxing dinner without Heckling! The trip was relaxing and not too quick, we'll have to do it again!

He stood right over us and did the Loser sign to us and thumbs down and everyone cheered! It stunk!
Of course a picture of the Gold Rush Cheerleaders!

San Francisco Saturday!

Crazy story! Zach usually goes on a football trip with his Dad and some friends every year. He had bought some tickets and the boys changed their game date. So Zach sold one set of NFL tickets on Ebay and the other set didn't sell. So we decided to fly to San Francisco this past weekend and use them ourselves. We Flew in Saturday and relaxed and saw family and then Sunday we went to the game! It was a blast! Thanks Rachelle for watching the girls they loved it and didn't want to come back home with us!
On the Beach near my Aunts!
Thanks Aunt Jari and Uncle Mark for meeting up with us and showing us around it was fun!
Eating at a fun restaurant next to the Ocean! It was fun to see my cousin Kyle for lunch! We also went to a cool surf shop called Mavericks! It is the guy who is featured in the documentary Riding Giants who discovered the big waves there in Half Moon Bay!
Zach eating nasty calamari squid! Everyone loved them. I tried a calamari ring but not the ones with legs.
That night after a nap at the hotel we went to my cousin Matt's and had a birthday party for his son. His kiddos are so cute.
The little girls practiced their Hawaiian dances for us! Thanks for feeding us and letting us crash the party Matt and Shirley! It was good to see you all!

Fair day 2008!

I love the fair food especially the mini donuts. The girls love the animals and the rides. Zach usually get free entry tickets and it is a fun day!

At the cute petting zoo the girls brushed a soft momma cow.

Sydney milked a cow and got a real kick out of it!

Sydney wanted a horse ride and loved it but Mallory declined and just waved!

They loved feeding the little goats the best!

I thought this cow was so pretty!

Mallory fell asleep and Sydney rode the kiddy rides and was a goof ball!

Family visit

We went to Boise last week and spent the night with Aunt Vanessa. Dad and Kelli came and visited with Jessica and her family too. We visited and ate too much and went to the zoo and swam. Vanessa also celebrated her birthday!!!

The pilot amazes me how much we can fit into it,7 people and a stroller!

All the Jones Grandgirlies! Mallory, Brynlynn, Sydney and Tenley!

Happy 21st Birthday Vanessa! We loved the sleepover and Cheesecake Factory!
